Meet Tom Hartley, the builder behind Block.
I started Block in 2011, after fifteen years on other firms' sites watching too many homeowners get handed to a stranger the day work began. So I built the opposite: a Bristol firm where the person who quotes your job is the person who runs it, from the first survey to the final snag.
We're a small, directly employed crew, not a rota of subcontractors, so the standard never drops between the quote and the keys. Most of our work comes from neighbours of people we've already built for, and I intend to keep it that way.
